Mercado Pago is a payment platform developed by Latin American companies (MercadoLibre S.R.L. in Argentina), and their focus in Latin American markets means that they do not consider internationalization as a priority.
This depends on your payment method. If you chose Mercado Pago as your payment method and do not live in South America, the most likely cause is that your bank (or credit/debit card issuer) does not process payments to companies in a different country. Using Mercado Pago counts as using your credit card in Argentina.
Check if your credit/debit card has some kind of "regional lock" that prevents it from being used in Argentina. Your bank's online banking platform should allow you to view, nable and disable it.
If you are unclear on how to (temporarily) disable the "regional lock" in your card, consider using PayPal as the payment method instead.
If after disabling the regional lock you don't receive a successful payment email, please, try another card. Your previous card could have been marked by your bank as having suspicious activity (as you already tried a payment with the regional lock in place). You can also contact your bank and ask them to unlock the payment.
An email was sent to you when you placed the order for your tickets. That email contains a link to view the details of your order - following that link you'll be able to retry a payment method, or choose a different payment method.

For Local Tickets and Regional Tickets, we recommend using Mercado Pago as the payment method. This way, the payment will be done directly in Argentinian pesos and here'll be no currency conversion.
The fees PayPal are charging us are higher than the fees MercadoPago is charging us.
